Interface and Experience
This is the main battleground. The Google TV Streamer offers a revolutionary "For You" tab that pulls content from all your services... In contrast, the Fire TV Stick 4K has a more traditional grid of apps, but heavily prioritizes Amazon Prime Video content at the top.
Remote Control
Both remotes are excellent... The Alexa remote has dedicated buttons for popular services, while the Google TV remote has an input switcher, which is very handy.
Google TV Streamer 4K
Best for content discovery and UI. While both are excellent choices, the Google TV Streamer 4K edges out the competition with its superior content discovery interface.
